I highly recommend the team at Platinum Painting. Rod Bohl managed the sales process from estimate to completion with a high level of customer service. Ivan and the paint team worked very quickly and completed the entire project with two coats of paint in two days which was amazing. Ivan was very responsive to my requests, ensured that the workmanship was of the highest quality and that I was completely satisfied. Overall a great experience and I will use Platinum again! Recent Review: Very happy with the end product. We worked with Josh and he was excellent in explaining and answering questions throughout the project. He, the deck, paint & roof crew were very professional & courteous. Work spanned over a period of 5 days. Only complaint is the punctuality of when crew showed up vs when they said they will. Not a big deal but would have been great if they were punctual. Overall extremely satisfied with the finished project.
Our number one suggestion, is to hire a LOCAL small-to-medium size, owner operated painting contractor! These painters will give you the best quality at reasonable prices! Big contractors ALWAYS hire sub-contractors (your local painters) and you end up paying the Local Price + Big Company Overhead & Profit + Salesperson’s Commission, which is typically 100% more that you would otherwise pay to the local owner-run outfit. Painting is one of the quickest and easiest ways to give your home's interior a facelift with dramatic results. Fortunately, it doesn't have to be that difficult. Home improvement stores offer samples that you can take home. With these samples, you can try a few colors in large swaths on your wall to see the how the paint interacts with the room's natural light. Compare it against design elements like pillows or furniture to see whether it will work with your overall décor. House Painting Broomfield Colorado
Don't hesitate to ask all the questions you need to feel comfortable hiring a professional. You can also ask 3-4 professionals to make sure you have the right quote in mind. You must make sure they have a warranty or some kind of paperwork stipulating the quality of their jobs. Insurance is also a #1 priority to consider, as damage can happen in the process of painting. When determining the total cost of a home’s exterior project, you’ll want to include things like the trim, a garage, foundation, windows and doors. All work is calculated by square footage and sometimes by the linear foot, such as in the case of trim. Your contractor will give you a price for the entire project unless you specifically ask for each item separately. House Painting Broomfield CO
Power washing – $0.42–$1.40/sq. ft.. You might think you can save some money by power washing the exterior yourself, but homeowners can get a bit trigger-happy with a power washer in their hands. The pressure from the washer can take them unawares, breaking windows, leaking water into window frames and siding joints, and gouging wood. It’s probably wiser to use a hose and scrubbing brush. Rinse off any cleaning solutions thoroughly.

Once you find a painting pro you want to hire, be sure to have a detailed contract that includes the scope of work and prices for all materials and paint that is being used. Find out how many coats of paint will be applied as well as the brand of paint that will be used. Most decent painting pros will use quality brands like BEHR or Sherwin Williams. The contract should also spell out the time frame to complete the project and as well as set up clean up details. Broomfield Home Painting
The crew arrived on time, but did not bring a pressure cleaner with them. The insurance company clearly stated the charges for pressure cleaning before painting and I had confirmed this with the sales person. I went ahead and let the crew paint the trim without pressure cleaning and then found out that they did not have the custom paint color for the trim. The sales person had even taken a sample of the paint with him. The head painter (Angel) then left to get the paint while his assistant continued to prep and paint what he could with the paint they had. After a few hours I called the office and they said that Angel was still getting the paint. The assistant finished and ended up sitting on the front porch waiting. I had called the office again after a couple of hours as was told that Angel had gone back to their office in Plano to get the paint. I work in Plano and it only takes 45 minutes each way. Angel did not return for 5 - 1/2 hours. They finished up and I had to reschedule them to come back out and pressure wash/paint the metal roof. Angel did pressurewash and complete the painting in a few hours. Broomfield House Painting
Budget for $600 to $2,000 for 250 square feet up to around 1,000 square feet. Expect to pay approximately the same costs as repainting vinyl siding. Angie's List suggests two coats to achieve at least 10 years of fresh color. Hardie siding — fiber cement siding — has a baked-on paint finish, but the manufacturer suggests repainting after routine cleaning no longer restores the original color to your satisfaction. If you choose to paint your home yourself, you can save on the cost of labor. But if you don’t have the time or experience to tackle to job, it’s worth paying the going rate for painters in your area. If your home requires power washing prior to painting, and if it requires caulking for windows and doors, the cost will also rise. Whether paint is applied with a sprayer, brushed, or rolled on will also factor into the price. A painting pro can easily offer an estimate prior to undertaking an exterior painting job.
