I was completely satisfied with Marcos Painting. They have excellent customer service and worked very hard to make sure I was happy with the results. They did a great job, arrived when they said they would, finished when they said they would , and the price was fair. They even offered to return to paint a new front door that hadn’t arrived in time for them to paint it. I highly recommend these great guys!

In New England, the elements will eventually take a toll on the exterior of your Stamford home or office. Seasonal hazards, ranging from winter snow and ice to summer heat and glaring UV rays, can make any surface appear grimy and worn. Avoid the build-up of dust, dirt and debris with our team’s expert pressure washing services for your home or commercial building exterior. The process of using a high-powered stream allows for the quick and complete removal of film, sap, pollen and other seasonal hazards that can cause an exterior to look dilapidated. Our second recommendation is to have quality prep work and 2 coats of paint done. While it will cost 30-40% more upfront, you will have to pay that one time, and it will last 10 years or more. If you do not do these two items, your paint job may last 3-4 years, and you will have to pay even more second time around, as by then, your wood siding will have even more rot, so the prep work and rot repair will cost even more, on the second round. We first used Paul for painting our complete home interior ten years ago when we found him on Angie's List. He did such a good job that we subsequently used him for exterior painting, cabinet resurfacing and more interior painting. His company has grown to include more services and we will certainly be using him more often as our needs change and as our home ages. We heartily recommend Paul!
If your home or apartment is more than 30 years old (constructed prior to 1978), there is a high chance that the current paint on the walls and window/door trim contains lead. This is a serious health hazard, especially if there are small children living in the home. If you suspect that there may be lead paint on your walls, its best to test for it and remove it, before putting on new coats of paint. Broomfield House Painting
"This is a highly professional company! All the workers I had contact with were so nice -- it was a pleasure doing business with them and the I am very happy with the resulting improvements they made for me. I asked for a custom built radiator cover and had some molding installed around my fireplace hearth and also a bathroom painted. The work was completed on schedule and their fees are very reasonable. You’ll spend between $500 and $3,000 or $1 to $3.50 per square foot to paint concrete. However, expect to pay $2 to $7 per square foot since concrete almost always needs a coat of primer first. Double that price if the concrete requires stripping. Concrete is porous. Sealing it not only helps blend foundations and walls with your home’s aesthetic, but also seals it against water. Repairing or resurfacing concrete costs $300 to $500 for every 100 square feet. Broomfield House Painting
